During this guided experience, we bring everything to you. You’ll learn the basics of candle making, explore fragrance blending, and pour your own custom candle to take home. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed.

Sample Schedule

  • We'll introduce ourselves, talk about the art of candle making, and walk through what we're creating together today.

  • The fun part. Smell, experiment, and craft your own signature scent using our curated collection of fragrance oils. We'll guide you through blending notes and finding your perfect combination.

  • Melt, measure, mix. You'll learn proper pouring technique and safety, then pour your custom blend into your vessel.

  • While your candles begin to set, write a postcard to future you (or someone you love), enjoy refreshments, and ask any questions about candle care.

  • Candles need a moment. We'll chat, pack up, and let your creation cool enough to travel home safely.

  • What upgrades are available?

    • Extra candle — make a second one to take home (+$15)

    • Different vessel — swap the amber jar for another style (+$5)

    • Wood wick — add that cozy crackling sound (+$3)

    • Larger vessel — upgrade to a 12 oz size (+$10)

  • We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks out to secure your preferred date, but we'll do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when possible.

  • Yes. We carry full liability insurance for all workshops and events.

  • Safety first. Candle making involves working with hot wax and open flames. We've set the age minimum at 16+ to ensure everyone can safely handle materials and follow instructions.

  • Just a table (or a few tables for larger groups), seating for your crew, and access to a power outlet for heating the wax. We bring everything else — wax, wicks, fragrance oils, vessels, tools, and expertise.

  • Let us know ahead of time. All our fragrance oils are phthalate-free, and we can work with you to accommodate specific sensitivities.

  • We use fragrance oils specifically formulated for candle making. While we love essential oils for personal use (diffusers, skincare, etc.), fragrance oils are the safer and more effective choice for candles. Here's why:

    • Safety — fragrance oils are tested for stability at high heat and have verified flashpoints

    • Scent throw — they're designed to disperse fragrance evenly when burned, filling the room with scent

    • Consistency — you get a reliable, true-to-scent experience every time

    All our fragrance oils are phthalate-free and skin-safe for candle making.
